About
SESON
Southwestern Alumni is an acronym for Southwestern Ex-students' Organization Nepal. SESON was formed in 2015, primarily to mobilize the ex-students of Southwestern for social welfare.
After taking a small step of joining the ex-students, we also decided to serve the community of Nepal by organizing various programs in the field of education and health and help in its development. We are based in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Our Focus
Southwestern Alumni is an acronym for Southwestern Ex-students' Organization Nepal. SESON was formed in 2015, primarily to mobilize the ex-students of Southwestern for social welfare and also organize various programs in the field of education and health like nationwide Scholarship program, health camps etc. to help the people who are in need.
We are based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Vision Statement
SESON envisions to be an active alumni group and a leading NGO of Nepal with a global network of professional members committed to and engaged in activities that promote better Education, Health and Nutrition, Environment, Employment, Income Generation and others.
Mission Statement
SESON holds the mission to connect the alumni of Southwestern College, together with other locally and globally available resources, to engage in activities that ensure the welfare of society by conducting various programs in fields that include but not limited to Education, Health and Nutrition, Environment, Employment and Income Generation.

The four pillars that drive our organization forward
Member Service
As our first goal, we seek to provide our members a source of guidance in various aspects of living in Nepal. This includes providing advice on education, scholarships, visa, taxes, finances, professional networking etc. We seek to be a sanctuary for them.
SWSC Development
As stated in the preamble, we owe it to our Alma mater Southwestern State College (SWSC), to help and support its quest to become the Center of Excellence in education in Nepal. Hence, one of our goals is to be a guide for school and also for the students of SWSC into the future.
Social Service
Nepal, being one of the poorest countries in the world, lacks the social support system and infrastructure for development and welfare of its citizens. Our organization is focused on supporting sustainable social service projects in the field of education and health in Nepal. We solicit funds from our members, philanthropic organizations, development agencies etc to formulate and implement various projects in Nepal through the help of our main office in Nepal, SESON.
Leadership
To be an effective organization and be able to make positive change in the society, we see the need for a concerted effort from all the Nepal-related associations in Kathmandu city. There are a lot of well-intentioned people with energy, enthusiasm and resources to work for the betterment of people of Nepal. Thus, to make a real impact, a platform needs to be created where all the energies can come together and a single voice is heard that can make a real positive change in Nepal. Our organization strives to help create that platform.
